Acacia Nilotica General
Acacia Nilotica, aka Babul, grows throughout India without permission. It is available along all roads and tracks.
If you are old and have Joint pains, specially Knee pains, take Babul. If you are old and don't have Knee pains, take Babul. Acacia Nilotica for Cough

Take Quarter tablespoon paste of Acacia Nilotica leaves with one tablespoon of Honey and warm water.
OR : Chew the gum of Acacia Tree. It cures Cough.

Acacia Nilotica for Dryness
Chew a small portion of the gum.
Chew some gum.
Chew a small portion of gum.
OR : Boil one tablespoon crushed Acacia Nilotica ( Babool ) bark in a glass of water. Add some Rocksalt and gargle.
Make a paste of the leaves with water. Fold it in a clean cloth and put it over the closed eyes at bedtime.
Chew a piece of bark daily.
Prepare a decoction by boiling 1 tablespoon tender leaves in 2 cups of water. Gargle.
Take some water in an earthenware container. Soak some crushed bark in it for few hours. Gargle with it.
Use the powdered bark as tooth powder.
A decoction of bark is used as a vaginal shower.
The fresh pods of Aciacia Nilotica ( Babool ) is used to treat sexual debility. It strengthen the both male and female reproductive organs.
You can also take fresh pods of Babool fruit.
Dry the seedless pods in shade. Grind. Mix equal quantity of Palm Sugar and store. Take 1/2 tablespoon with 1 glass of milk at night.
Grind the tender leaves. Apply.
Boil the crushed bark in water. Wash off wounds with it.
Dust the powdered bark.
Take dry Pods of Acacia. Fry them in oil. Take 4-5 grams with hot milk twice a day.
Take half a teaspoon of Acacia Tree gum with crystal sugar ( Mishri) twice a day for three days. And viola Chordee is cured.
Acacia Nilotica for Sexual Disorders
Fry 1/4 tablespoon powdered gum of Acacia Nilotica in 1 tablespoon ghee. Take it daily with 1 glass milk.
Prepare a decoction of Acacia Nilotica's bark. Add 2 g Salt in 1 cup of the decoction. Gargle two - three times a day.
Take a small piece of fresh Acacia Nilotica ( Babool ) Bark. Wash and chew it twice a day
Cut stem of Acacia Nilotica ( Babul ) in small pieces. Chew one piece daily in the morning.
Make a decoction of Acacia Nilotica gum. Have 10 ml of it once a day.
Acacia Nilotica as an Antimicrobial
Extract juice from the stem of Acacia Nilotica. Take 1 tsp of it daily.
Consume 2 g seeds of Acacia Nilotica with warm water. Take it twice a day.
Acacia Nilotica as Antimutagenic
Take a quarter tsp flower extract of Acacia Nilotica once a day.
Make leave paste of Acacia Nilotica. Tie it in a piece of cloth. Use it as a poultice.
For premature Ejaculation, Take fresh pods of Babool ( Acacia Nilotica ) fruit daily.

Make a decoction of Acacia Nilotica ( Babool ) fresh pods. Wash the Vagina with this decoction. It is helpful in tightening the loose Vaginal muscles after delivery.

Method : Spread 1 to 1.5 metres of coarse cloth is evenly, with its corners secured. The fresh pods are thumped and juice is squeezed out of them.This fresh juice is applied on the cloth every morning and evening, for 20 days. You will see a 5-6 cm thick layer formed on the cloth. A small piece of this cloth weighing 5 to 9 gram is cut. Boil it in a liter of cow’s milk. Have this milk daily. Add brown sugar to taste.

Dry the seedless pods in the shade. Powder the pods. Add an equal weight of brown sugar to the powder. Mix well. Take 4 to 6 grams of this mixture with warm milk in the morning.

Herbal Treatment For Eczema 1
Boil 3 tablespoon powdered bark each of
Acacia Nilotica and
Mango in 4 cups of water. Foment the affected area with the vapors. Now anoint with Clarified Butter.
Herbal Treatment For Gum Diseases 1
Grind 1 cup each of the bark of Acacia Nilotica and Azadirachta Indica. Add 1 tablespoon each of powdered Cubeb, Long Pepper and Rock Salt. Use after Every meal as a tooth powder.
Herbal Treatment For Diarrhea 3
Mix 1/4 tablespoon powdered gum of Acacia Nilotica in some water. Soak some leaves in water for 1 hour. Take the infusion with small quantity of Black Cumin.
Herbal Treatment For Spermatorrhea 1
Take equal quantities of Acacia Nilotica gum and Chebulic Myrobalan. Grind. Take 1/2 tablespoon with 1 tablespoon of Honey for Ten days.
Herbal Treatment For Diarrhea 4
Boil 1 cup Acacia Nilotica bark in 1 litre water and sieve it. Add powdered Indian Pennywort in it. Also add the powder of 4 Black Peppercorns, 2 Cardamom, Cinnamon, 2 Cloves, 1/4 Nutmeg and 1/2 tablespoon Long Pepper. Mix it and leave it for a month before it is taken for medicinal use. Take One tablespoon twice a day.
